in august,
my main focus was on the scent of rice. from soil to shelf,
and then i made a all-rice feast, churning memories in savoury ice cream based on a friend’s & a town’s signature dish, fantasy jellies, (what else),
a drawing of time as usual, and several writing for a zine - accompanied with cute rice stickers with mahmoud darwish’s poem engraved on top.
at the same time, i was selling my own dupes.
