Positioning in the center of The Fieldwork- an installation in dialogue with the landscapes of nature, human and labor of Sibalom, Philippines, Some exit by a wrong door suggests a shape-shifting scenery of unaccounted mundaneness in disguise as a confession well. It records, contains & collects the closets of any bigger picture, even seemingly
repetitive or insignificant - from stories, memories, and movements through the production of body salt during encounters.
Along with visual language and the transformation of materials with temperature, humidity, time and labor along with community-based methodology, the work poses as a communal repository for a landscape of the unheralded, where it transforms and returns to its core characteristics, and to be seen with equal sacredness and necessities.
