Made out of 300 liters of seawater condensed in local gray clay earthenware bricks, Afterword is a continuation and a response to an initiative of using various bodies of salt as an alternative medium of archive*. Taking inspiration from the salt making
traditions in Visayas and Northern Vietnam, Afterword is a dialogue with the history of salt making scores in the long and resilient process of creating the work, and with the moving histories of the future lies in the variable nature.

Capturing movement of ocean waves, each hand-molded brick is a vessel that opens to possibilities of collectively creating landscapes of memories — to be archived, alternate and continue to record new shapes through the interactions of visitors and nature.
